Ponderosa #2

Ponderosa pine, Pinus ponderosa, 55 cm high, around 200 years old, collected in 1995 by Larry Jackel in Colorado, pot by Derek Aspinall
First image 1997 in Larry Jackel's garden.

And there are still lots of folks who tell me that ponderosas are NOT good for bonsai because of their foliage and general growth habit. Well, look at this one! This sort of material is available at Nature's Way Nursery in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

It might look better without the branch on the lower right side
