Ezo spruce #2
Ezo spruce, Picea jezoensis, 70 cm high, around 150 years old, natural stone from Germany. From imported tree. Table by Alex Probst.
First image as of May 2008. It is hard to believe!
So now we are getting serious with this one. The 'silly' grass had to go and the whole thing looks more sophisticated now. It is amazing what was possible in one year.

now THAT is a bonsai!
Walter,
I have always admired this tree and yes after moving the lawn;) the tree displays its full majesty without distraction.
Perfect realistic miniature. Outstanding tree.
Kind of ironic your most "naturalistic" european looking tree comes from Japan,i love it cant wait to see it at a show
For me this is the most impressive tree of your spruce-bonsai.
Really fantastiv work!!!
Greetings Martin (Sturm)

Really fantastic work!!!
Walter,
It sure is hard to believe that from May 2008 and as of present, this tree has been styled and developed so well.
Simply beautiful! Happy that you finally got rid of the silly grass, that was so distracting.

Without all the grass it´s an amazing spruce, Walter!
See you next weekend ......
