late summer meeting 2009 #2

Philipp Reinfurt had his 15th birthday on Saturday, August 29. This was his first public demonstration. He worked on an old European spruce which had had worked on before already in spring. His demonstration was recieved with amazement. It was gnenrally accepted that we have a great talent here with a bright future. Philipp got his next engagement as demontrator right on the spot. I am proud to be his teacher.

Hello Mr. Walter! My name is Joana, I'm from Portugal, and I'm 20 years old. It lightens my heart you teach persons of such young age. I myself began my jouney in the world of bonsai when I was 17, and remember the enthusiasm I had for bonsai, and still do. Congratulations, Philipp, for having such a good teacher, and that spruce looks splendorous! Keep up the good work, and enjoy!
