two European honeysuckles
Both collected Lonicea xylostemuml. Extreme rarities as bonsai.
I know this is kind of an old post of yours...but i just got a new tree..and unfortunately i had no idea what species it belonged to. I looked my books, the internet and your blog and it seems that it's a honeysuckle. So i wanted to ask you if you could give me some tips about it. Should i keep outside or indoors, does it like sun or shade?
You must be very careful in finding the correct tree species like this. Yuor tree could well be a tropical ligustrum as they are so often sold as indoors. My honeysuckle is deinitely an outdoor plant for half shade and winter hardy.
Thanks for the answer. I'm 100% sure that it's a honeysuckle. I've seen some trees since the first post and the leaves and the trunk are typical to a honeysuckle. I'll keep it outside in half shade. Thanks again.
