small new hornbeam

All these are oriental hornbeam (Carpinus orientalis) which were collected two years ago. In their natural habitat they are grazed on by goats and sheep over decades. They are outright raw material, but have been cut and edited with scissors once. They were potted into reasonable, often final pots within the past two days. As one can see it is OK to do this when the foliage is already out somewhat. Now they will have to rest for a year and then they will be styled over the next five to ten years. I have around 100 of these now for my collection. There are another 100 which are very similar and which are available. I think that these are excellent material for small and mediums sized bonsai. Anyway, I will never ever run out of work here, that's for sure.
