another mugo cascade - part 1

This mugo pine I have collected in 1999 in Italy. After a couple of years in a plastic pot I planted it into this shell pot by William Vlaanderen. The deadwood belongs to the tree, but it separated very soon after collection. In March of this year we had unexpected snow again after I already had placed the cascade on a stump outside. The overnight snow made the thing tumble and the deadwood broke into two pieces.
I wanted to work with this for a long time, but it neve really looked healthy enough. This spring the buds are vigorous and today I jumped right in.
