Scots pine #17

Scots pine, Pinus sylvestris, collected in Norway in 2009. The box fell apart and I had to plant it into a very large training pot without disturbing the root ball. This now would be the worst possible time to repot a pine in my area. Anyway, Walter edited the deadwood and wired all the thick branches. I have potted it virtually into a round Peter-Krebs-pot. The small branches will be wired by mid-September if the tree looks healthy then. In spring of 2014 the pine can go into the final pot.
