Mugo pine #32

Mugo pine, Pinus mugo, collected by Host Heinzlreiter in Austria in 2006. This tree was located within spitting distance from 'Salvador Dali'. It is of similar quality. But this was not obvious from the start. See the amazing progression. Walter has worked hard on the deadwood . We bent the thickest branches and will leave the tree like this until next year. It would be way too dangerous to wire everything right away. This was a lot of stress for the tree.
