Cembra pine, Swiss Stone pine, Pinus cembra.
The pot was made by Dieter Schunta. After six years the color started to fall offf. It got worse and now the pot was so unsightly that some decision had to be made. Throw the pot away, get a new one?
Dieter suggested: take a strong power tool with a steel brush and brush the old color off. Then paint with acrylic paint. Mix it and be playful. If you don't like it brush off again. I must say that I like it very much. Now it looks like a genuine hand made pot with excellent glazing.
By now the whole forest is ready for exhibit. But it is very large. The pot is about 2 meters long, almost seven feet! Takes a very large and long table at an exhibit. We'll see.
