Colorado blue spruce shohin

This is a little Colorado Blue Spruce, Picea pungens. It was collected in Colorado many years ago. First image in October 2006. last images as of July 2008. The last virtual shows a possible future with a crescent pot. The whole thing is only 18 cm high and qualifies well as shohin. It is possibly around 100 years old. This is a little gem, a real rarity. Blue spruce of this kind of quality are almost unheard of.
