Hawthorn is coming

This is a Europen hawthorn, Crataegus monogyna. They grow like weeds in some parts of Europe. In England, Wales and Ireland one can find them in areas where sheep are grazing since centuries. The sheep bite the hawthorns and make them outstanding bonsai material. This one comes from England where it was collected in the year 2004. I acquired the tree in fal of 2005.

1) to 5) fall of 2005
6) and 7) winter 2006
7) spring 2007
8) and 9) August 2007

Two fronts, as usual. 60 cm high, training pot.
