Amazing transformation! I really liked the composition.

Pot looks a little heavier in comparison---- what do you say?

Sure, the pot now looks too big as the crown is a lot smaller. Eventually I will have to find a smaller pot. With spruce you have to think in decades. Everything that is done in one year with most trees takes ten years with spruce. No surprise they ar the rarest at exhbits and the most expensive in Japan.I have about 250 spruce. the reason is that most people don't want them because they are so 'difficult'.

Learned quite a few things about Spruce today.....

The 250 spruce in your collection: are these all yamadori or nursery stock as well?

I don't own a single spruce from a nursery. Compared to the qualities of the collected trees they are a total waste of time.
