New Japanese maple

Japanese maple, Acer palmatum, around 40 years old, 105 cm high, pot Japan. This was imported from Japan into Germany in 2001. In 2004 it was exhibited in Dusseldorf in front of a huge painting by Udo Claassen. After that it was shown at numerous national and international exhibits. Yesterday this tree found it's way into my garden. I edited the nebari and the crown slightly. Then I selected a new pot. The old one absolutely has to go back next spring. The new pot is slightly longer and darker. It will show a great contrast next spring with the bright red new growth and in fall. I will report.
