European black pine #11

Recently we are bending very old and thick trunks. The question was asked whether I could show one which I have bent a long time ago and show what happened afterwards. Well, look at this. The first image is as of September 2001. I got it from Robert Barth for almost nothing because it seemed like crap. Look at the pathetic move of the trunk to the right. Well, I split it and bent it ruthlessly to the left. Today it starts to look good. If one considers the species it is even better. There are not many collected European black pines in refined stat around. This was for sale all the time. Now it is part of my collection. Too late guys. Be faster next time.
Now it deserves a good pot and not this crappy broken Korean one.
