European  spruce, Picea abies, collected in Switzerland in 2001. Now it's gettign show ready soon.

So, when do you started to work on that tree after digging it?

In my opinion this is the best of your spruces, and probably the best European spruce bonsai in the world.

Interesting to see how much the detail worked into the dead wood improves the impression of a very large tree

I think you are especially talented with spruce Walter, every time I see one of your spruce I'm blown away. Every one looks like it's the best I've ever seen, until the next one pops up on my screen.

This one is probably my favorite though. If this was someone else's tree they would have eliminated one of the tops, but you left them both and made them work together so well.

Thanks for sharing your trees with the world. You're an inspiration.
