New face for a Japanese white pine

I decided to give my Japanese white pine (Pinus pentaphylla) a more natural face. I did say some time ago that I wanted to keep the Japanese look. I have changed my mind. And I am not sorry after I did it. Next spring I will again rotate the tree one hour counter-clockwise. But I need a new pot to be able to physically do this.
Last image as I got it exactly two years ago.

Do you perhaps mean last image?

Sure I mean 'last image'. Thanks.

That's what I thought. Your redesign is, in my opinion, a significant improvement over the Japanese look. Great tree!

Walter I hope you are feeling better. I have to say I adore your natural images and am intending to create my trees along the same lines. However there is something facinating about those perfectly groomed Japanese pines have you ever been tempted to create something in that style there is a great series on utube called bonsai art of Japan some fantastic traditional trees maintained in that almost cartoon image.
