Walter Pall's main blog about bonsai and his work with trees from day to day. Lots of good pictures of good trees and lots of valuable information about bonsai.
This is a beautiful Linden tree. I recently bought a Trunk, with just some beginning branches, in a one gallon pot. The problem I have, is that as much as I love trees, I honestly can NOT remember EVER seeing a Linden Tree in the USA. MAYBE they are somewhere, but not around North Central Pennsylvania. I noticed on my pre-bonsai linden, that the first branch is VERY low, like this tree. I almost cut it off, to go with the common bonsai ratio of 1/3 trunk, 2/3 branches. Do the large Linden trees in Germany often have the low first branch? Thanks.
