European black pine coming nicely

European black pine, probably Dalmatian black pine, Pinus nigra dalmatica, from nursery stock, very rare. First images as of 2007. Within a short time this shrub became a bonsai with hope.

Hi Walter,
where was it collected?

Hello Mr. Pall!
This really is and "old adventure" of yours.
However, I would like to ask the length of time within which the major interventions have been made.
I would say that the styling work was first done and root work next.
The unecessary branches as well as the apex have they been removed all together or at stages?
How long did it get for the root reduction in order to have the tree put into a bonsai pot for the first?
Thank you very much for your time.
Kind Regards,
ap

My Nellie, 'only one major insult at the time. Either you style the tree or you repot it. Never do both at once. You can cut it back and repot it at the same time. This was done here.
