The lower left limb is pretty thin, and yet I notice you trimmed its new growth. Any reason you wouldn't want to let it grow out before pruning so as to thicken it?

Oh well, I want it to ramify. I will let it grwo long again.

I air layered a hackberry about a month ago, any tips as to how long before it roots?
