Scots pine #19

Scots pine, Pinus sylvestris, collected in Norway in 2010. We'll see whether I ever will overcome the fact that this has no nebari.

You're putting us on, right? I'm sure I can see quite a bulge there.

I wonder what can induce Norwegians to part with such 'gold' - we can add negotiation to the skills of a modern bonsai master!

Dave,

the key to an extensive high-quality bonsai collection is not so much money but rather a very good eye for potential and negotiation skills.
