European larch #14

European larch, Larix decidua, collected in September 2008. last image with pot is a virtual, of course. The tree will go into a reasonable pot in about three years.

No, quite the contrary. Barerooting a larch will kill it absolutley. This tree grew in pure gravel. There was hardly a rootball. About 90 % of these trees will not make it. This one did.
