Japanese Maple #26 - somehow over a couple of years the tree has gotten a direction in the crown that was contrary to the direction of the slab. After defoliation and hedge pruning I took the tree off the slab with a very firm root ball and turned it around 180 degrees. Now it looks like it was always like this. Such is bonsai.
