Prunus #10

The new pot suits the tree much better than the old one.

Hi Walter,

I have a 15 year old cherry plant with lots of small branches and countless leaves with a nice trunk. Really don't understand how to prune it. I confess that I find it hard to remove the branches!Nor does it bear fruit---only some flowers and 2-3 cherries!
May you help please?

Anita, that's hard to answer. Well, I cut the cherries like I cut ALL broadleaved trees. Have you read my article about the 'hedge cutting method'?

Of course I have read it...o yes, it may help a lot.
I'am again going to read it.
Thank you and regards.

Sir,
I read your article again and have decided to forget about the tree for some more months.I carefully observed my tree and concluded that instead of going for 'temporary beauty I must go for quality'as you have suggested. I, definitely was going to spoil my tree!

Thank you.
