Hi Walter!
When I saw this post I flipped through the pictures without reading the introduction. I assumed you had drastically cut back the crown to help the lower branches develop. I was even admiring how well the approach had worked and was convinced that I would do the same with some of my broadleaf trees. How do you feel about the trees appearance/development now compared to before the mysterious dieback? Thanks.
