Ponderosa #1

Ponderosa pine, Pinus ponderosa, collected in Wyoming. Just in time for the Denver show. Too bad I cannot show it there.

The Hauswurzen around the plant are very nice -- are the nebari poor, is that the reason though?

Don,

the nebari is poor as on almost all ponderosa pines. The plants got out of hand, They grow like weeds in modern substrate. I kind of like them. When the Japanese delegation was here they thought it is funny. 80% of these will have to go.
