Walter Pall's main blog about bonsai and his work with trees from day to day. Lots of good pictures of good trees and lots of valuable information about bonsai.
Que Frio .......Saludos
How long do you expect the branches to eventually become on this tree Walter?
Jerry, the braches will become much longer, about four times longer than now or even more. ButI will stretch the growth over many years.I think this tree has great potential. More images will be shown as soon as the snow is gone again.
I love this and learning about the bonsai. I have tried, again and again but can't grow them. I think it's more than directions and a green thumb, but it takes a special kind of person to do so.
@Cindy - you can best join a bonsai forum where you'll get specific help for the beginner. In the US http://www.bonsaistudygroup.com and in English speaking Europe http://www.weetrees.co.ukWalter's trees are of the very highest quality and are not something you can grow in a short period but are often collected from the wilds...
The trees clad in snow are awesome! Thanks for sharing...Q: For how long the trees remain covered in snow, and when the new shoots would sprout?
Schukat, the snow is on the trees intermittently from December to March. There are weeks without snow, but it always will come back.
