Hello Walter!
Your trees are as always stunning. I have to ask you about this larch. Was this photo made these days or in spring? It actually looks exactly like some of my larches. They dropped all needles and in two weeks there were buds all over, they now look exactly like in spring. Freshly green. Could it be because of feeding or they just do it without any reason?

The photo was done last weeek. This is the second flush. They do this sometimes. When they go through a dry and hot period they may loose their needles in July and come back in 'August. But is is not good for them!!
