souvenir from Bonsai Autumn
I could not resist to purchase this shohin olive for part of my prize money. It ia a precious piece of material. This is the wild form from the Spanish isles with vey small foliage.

As olives are Mediterranean trees, would you be growing it in greenhouse condition or in the open?
What kind of a pot you have in mind for the potensai? This crescent pot looks terrible. A round or rectangular pot would suit better. What are your thoughts?
I grow olives outside in full sun all summer long. When it starts to freeze I bring them inside my house close to a window but cool. I kind orf like the crescent pot. But, yes, I may look for a better one.
