Turkish oak redesigned

Turkish oak, Quercus cerris, collecte in Italy in 1994, 50 cm high, around 60 years old, pot by William Vlaanderen.
A unique tree which does not appeal to everybody.

This one speaks to me, I love it! Is the Turkish Oak native to Italy? I have not heard of this variety before.

becky,

one finds them in many parts of southern Europe down to the Middle East. They have very nice foliage. They are even somewhat hardy in Central Europe.
