Big RMJ after some work

Here is the huge one after I have taken offf the wire and edited it somewhat. Again the kind of problem one wants to have: which one is the better front?
I will leave the tree alone now during the summer and then wire the whole thing again. This juniper works out tremendously. It might be ready for Gingko 2009.
The pot is by Horst Heinzlreiter.

I like the second front better. If there's so much dead wood, it should show. Then again, some more foliage, especially to the front, would wrap the whole picture quite nicely, don't you think?

i prefer the front on the first pic.

I like the first photo. There is a balance of dead wood, shaggy bark, and foliage.

The second one looks really beautiful with such a nice movement of the main deadwood trunk.

In course of time, the composition will have foliage in the right places........and a pleasant surprise for all of us in future.
