Scots pine #4

This is another one which got heavy bending of a very thick and old trunk. This time I cut out a cake piece in 2002. Then I ruthlessly bent the trunk down. Look how it appears today in the nice pot by Peter Krebs. Next year it will be stable in the pot, the guy wires can be removed and it is show ready. This is in the naturalistic style, 360 degree. It was featured in Bonsai Today. Look how it seems better with white background. This is unfortunately one aspect of naturalistic styling. Rather finished trees which look very good in reality and rather sparse as they should, look untidy and too dense with a black background and on photographs in general. Well, I don't style for photographs anyway.
