the new ezo spruce #3
Then I decided to dare to shape the main branches. Usually it is not a good idea to style and repot a spruce at the same time. But this applies to a wils tree which has it's first major styling. This ezo spurce already was styled for a few decades. All I did was to put strong wire around the major branches and bend them down. A downward move on conifers usually dose not harm the tree. Otherwise the branches were only bent a little. Then I cut a few branches out and some too long ones shorter.
