Maple planted a bit higher

Japanese maple repotted just a bit higher than before

Walter, did you pot these trees higher in the pot for aesthetics or for a horticultural reason? I'm not if I prefer one way or the other. However, I've recently found myself trying to plant my trees lower in the pot... Of course, that's what the book says :)

for aesthetic reasons. On the side it also gives the roots more space, I like to see a great nebari. Often it is hidden under the substrate.
