Prunus #17

This is a wild plum, Prunus cerasifera. The quality is very good for a recently collected tree. It goes from collection right in to refinement stage. All the development phase was done on the growing field. Another good thing about this tree is that it is in just the right container. I will be able to place it into any final pot whenever I have it. This species is one of the best flowering trees. It will eventually have more than 1,000 little white flowers and hundreds little red plums. I cannot wait for it.

"All the development phase was done on the growing field"

Development done on purpose for bonsai, or by environment (weather, animals, etc)?
