Major update on gallery

Many new images were added. Two major trees in America were added with their history:

Rocky Mountain juniper, Juniperus scopulorum, probably around 1,500 years old Ponderosa pine, Pinus ponderosa, probably over 500 to 1,000 years old.

(Before you now remark that the age is impossible do some reading. This has been throughly tested on many occasions)

Juniperus ponderosa? You mean _Pinus_ ponderosa, surely?

It appears that there are a few rouge pictures included in the galleries that don't belong to these trees. I could be mistaken.

Great work as always. Thanks for sharing.

Its kind of challenging to find the right tree in all those trees :)
I ended up looking more at other wonderful progressions, no complaint here...

Anyway, if anyone want to go directly at those two trees :
Ponderosa Pine (Pinus ponderosa) #6 : http://walter-pall.de/pinesponderosa_pine_nr__6.jpg.dir/index.html

Rocky Mountain Juniper (Juniperus scopulorum) #10 : http://walter-pall.de/junipersrocky_mountain_juniper_nr__10.jpg.dir/index.html

After that you can go and wander around in the gallery, its worth the trip. :)

Lucky me! These trees are 20 minutes from my house!

Thanks WP, and Merry Christmas

Happy New Year indeed !

I could easily imagine one of these gracing one of those few ~ thousand-year old universities [or some such other place immune to history] for a few more centuries to come. Neither has a great bonsai, much that I know.
