very nice
quick question- what is the pot? is it homemade?

This is a homemade paper/cement pot that Mario made. It is better than a box or a plastic can.

1. Do you plan to remove, perhaps gradually, those gnarly looking protuberances around the nebari?

2. How long do those paper cement pots last? How many winters outside?

1) no, I think they give the tree a lot of character and uniqueness.
2) 20 to 100 years
