The sumo field maple - part 6

The new pot is ready. It now pays that years ago I cut the rootball as small as I dared. Now it almost fits into the final pot. We had to cut off a couple of roots still. But this was not a problem because the maple had a lot of healthy roots all over the place anyway. Now is the time to also improve the old scars with a die grinder.

1) Monika loves to play with tools
2) ditto
3) working on scars with die grinder
4) ditto
5) the crew now works the very well drainging substrate in. It is pumice and baked loam and some peat. On top we use pure baked loam becaue of the nice color and texture.
