European spruce #80
Thomas and Andy helped me to plant this monster into a reasonable pot today. We used large lava from IBUKIas substrate without adding anything to it. This I do with large trees in large pots. For smaller trees I would add some rough peat or similar. I hope for backbudding. In a few years there shoudl be enogh new growth to form a good crown. We will report.

Massive dogwood repotted, available
This is a European dogwood, Cornus mas. It was collected on an abandoned parking lot fifteen years ago. The deadwood is monumental. Today Georgios and I planted it into this final pot. We used IBUKI pumice with some roough peat. This tree is avaialble for sale or trade.
Rocky Mountain Juniper #10 finally styled by Mauro Stemberger
Yesterday Mauro Stemberger styled my juniper in a spectacular demonstration at Nature's Way Nursery in Harrisburg, Pa. After many years of waiting for this moment the tree now shines. It is probably way over 1,000 years old. BTW, it's avaialble.
