Hi Walter,

Those Croatian trees are quite something else!

I was wondering about the re-potting and significant clipping of roots. This is possible because of their warmer climates mixed with some polytunnel/greenhouse winter protection?

If one were to provide excellent winter protection up here, lets say, around 5-10 Celsius, could we also trans-plant this late?

I would appreciate your input on this.

Thank you!

Thomas

Surer it's the microclimate there at the coast. If you can mimick it up north you could get away with repotting and root cutting now.
