Wild Pear #1

After repotting three weeks ago in the middle of August this tree responds with very early fall color. This is a good sign. It shows that the tree is fully functioning. Contrary to what most people believe mid-August I consider the best time to repot most trees in my climate.
I am happy about the choice of pot now - It goes so well with the orange foliage. Now some small white  flowers in May and some small fruit in September and this would be the perfect bonsai.

How did you learn that you can re-pot in August? I would never take such a chance.

In 35 years one learn a lot if you have an open mind and don't believe at any point that you know enough.
