What do you use as the topsoil? It always looks so clean and natural.

Walter,

What do you use as topsoil on your bonsai?

Daniel, this is a special brand of baked loam, only avaialable in Germany or in my garden. It is a natural looking gray and good structure. The color is much differnt from most roots. Therefore the nebari looks more impressive.
