European beech #1

European beech, Fagus sylvatica, collected in Germany in 2002 - see image #1. Now the full quality of the tree can be seen without foliage. I am happy, but as one can see I still want to improve it. The enemy of the good is the better.

Easily one of my favorite images of your deciduous trees. This tree has elegance, but is also powerful with refinement. Nice work Walter.

Very pleasant, inspired by wild tree in hill landscape.
Is it possible to know where the pot comes from?
Thanks

David,

the pot is by John Pitt.

Hi, do you use the hedge cutting technique on beech? I've heard beech pruning is difficult.

Sure, all the same.
