Walter Pall's main blog about bonsai and his work with trees from day to day. Lots of good pictures of good trees and lots of valuable information about bonsai.
Hello Walter, I see almost all deciduous trees are in your hreenhouse. Is it so for any specific reason? Thanks, Daniel.
Welcome in reality, Daniel. This is standard since decades.
Thanks, but why is it standard? is it because of frost, snow or anything else? And yes I am new to bonsai. and really thankful for any of your answers.
Many trees will die if they are not protected from winter cold. It depends on the kind of tree, size of tree and other things. Trees whihc are hardy in your garden are often NOT hardy in a bonsai pot. Go to bonsai forums and google 'winter protection'
