Ezo spruce #2

Ezo spruce, Pice jezoensis, collected in Japan many decades ago, on a natural rock slab from Germany. The tree was made ready for the upcoming professional exhibit in Munich, Germany.

Is there any way to remove the hooked root on the left?

That would be a terrible mistake. It is a main feature of this tree. It would mean to take away a major part of it's character.Don't judge tree with bonsai rules!

The image of this is perfect!! Natural, i can feel myself sitting under it. Never remove the root.
