Mugo pine #3

This tree makes me happy. Walter and I removed all the old needles and we took off the wire. Then I wired the tree for the third time. But only the small branches got wired in general. We are approaching maturity now. This tree will be exhibited at the EBA convention in Dusseldorf, Germany this coming October if I can arrange for transport. I have turned the tree counter-clockwise two hours and it seems even more interesting. The last image is a virtual as to how it would look with the same pot and new position. The very last image is as of may 1998. hard to believe.

The transformation of this tree in just over a decade is incredible. One of my favorites in your collection! Thanks you for showing us the work that you do with bonsai. It's one of the best sources of education and inspires myself to get better.

Thanks, Brian

Definitly, this is one of the most beautiful trees I´ve ever seen. And it´s the old story -out of "nothing". Thanks for sharing, Walter. Take good care.
