winter images

On the expense of boring you I show my garden in winter again. While this is most normal for us I know that many folks think that this is quite 'exotic'.

I grew up in an area that got lots of snow, but now I am living in the tropics... Its nice to see pictures of such peaceful areas sleeping under a nice full coat of snow.

Walter - What trees do you keep in the greenhouse versus keeping outside? Which trees can weather the sub-freezing temps and remain outside throughout the winter??

Well this is a whole long article by itself. One has to know the properties of the species. It also depends on the size and age. And then it depends on whether one has worked on the tree later than August. And it depends on the local microclimate. In case of doubt protect.
