Maidenhair oak refurbished

Maidenhair oak, Quercus pubescens, 75 cm high, about 50 years old, collected in Italy in 2000, acquired in 2002 - first image.
Time for refurbishing. Removal of leaves, cutting back long branches, wiring for four hours.
Now the tree will stay like this for more than twelve months. Then the wire will be removed. in spring of 2013 I hope to have a better hand made pot for it.
It is typical of trees in the naturalistic bonsai style that they have many fronts and it is hard to decide for the best one.

Nice Oak Walter. So all snow is gone now at your place and spring is coming?
