big maple green now

The big mapel was orange a few days ago. Now it has become green. I think I will have to make some super shots this noon.

Off to Innsbruck and to Kaeflein

This wild cherry, Prunus mahaleb plus three other trees in full bloom and the 'Moray', the Rocky Mountain Juniper were just loaded to go to Innsbruck, Austria to the big exhibit over the of Bonsaiclub Tirol over the weekend.
Unfortunately at the very same I will be at Wolfgang Kaeflein#s place. There I will be holding my seminar 'Seeing potential in material'.his seminar had become very popular. Between 30 and 50 folks are coming. Most of them have been there before. the next seminar will probably be held in late August. We'll see.

Thisn is a collected wild myrtle, Myrtus communis. It probaly comes from Italy. The first images are as of July 2008 after I got it. Today I potted it into this most interesting pot by Charles Gluskotter, Oregon, USA.

This is an extreme Austrian black pine, Pinus nigra Austriaca. It thinsk it is a ponderosa pine. Today it got the final pot by Peter Krebs. The first five images are as of spring 2006.
