Japanese maple #1 repotted in better position

The big maple has slowed down with growth. Threee yers ago it was planted in a position which I finally decided to change back to the old one again. So it was all done in an hour with Marco's help. The last image is the position before in July 2013.

New pot for Japanese maple #3

Japanese maple, Acer palmatum, old pot by Derek Aspinall became too small over the years. Therefore I planted the tree into the new pot by Walter Venne from Germany.

 

European spruce #68

European spruce, Picea abies, collected in Germany in 2005, group started in 1012, slab by Erik Križovenský. This is not yet it, By now all the thicker branches are wired. Next summer all the small and very small branches will get wired. It is not finished yet, but it is coming along nicely. Thanks Erik for the slab!

new oriental hornbeams and dogwood available

New oriental hornbeams, Carpinus orientalis, are available for sale or trade. They are all well established and in the box since three yeaars. The last one is a dogwood, Cornus mas.
