big oriental hornbeam gets new pot
Walter and Kolja repotted this big collected oriental hornbeam, Carpinus orientalis. It is for sale or trade.
mugo vastly improved by repositioning
Most amateurs have no clue how much a tree can be improved simply by taking it out of the wrong pot and poor position and placing it into a new pot in a better position. Here a good example of how a tree can improve vastly within one hour. As part of the Ester Internship of the International Academy Walter, Alex and Kolja work on a collected mugo pine.

What to do with a straight black pine?
As part of the Easter Internship of the International Bonsai Academy Alex has provided his Austrian black pine, Pinus nigra Austriaca. He has collected this tree many years ago and brought it to a refined stage. But it is very straight and not so exiting. So we decided to give it a bend. But is it impossible to just bend this maybe 100 years old trunk. See what they are doing? Walter is helping Alex here.
